1. Overview

Chain Lube Mileage (“the app”) is a personal motorcycle chain maintenance log. The app does not send personal information to the developer and does not collect information that identifies you.

2. Data Collected

The developer does not collect the following categories of data through this app:

  • Contact information such as your name, email address, or phone number
  • Location information
  • Contacts, microphone, or audio data
  • Advertising identifiers or analytics tracking data
  • Account or sign-in information

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your motorcycle list, ride logs, lubrication history, app settings, and unit preferences are stored on your device. If you use iCloud sync, the data may be synchronized through Apple CloudKit private database to storage associated with your own Apple ID. Apple’s iCloud handling is governed by Apple’s own Privacy Policy.

4. Developer Access

The developer does not view, collect, sell, or share your motorcycle records, ride history, lubrication logs, app settings, or any data stored in your iCloud private database.

5. Third-Party Services

This app does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking SDKs.

6. Optional Permissions

The app may request the following permissions, all of which are optional and used only on your device:

  • Notifications: To deliver local reminders when chain lubrication is due based on mileage, time, or riding conditions. You may decline or revoke this at any time in iOS Settings.
  • Camera / Photo Library: To attach an optional photo per motorcycle. Photos are saved only to your device’s local store and your iCloud private database.

7. Sharing With Third Parties

This app does not sell or share your data with third parties. CSV export saves files to a destination of your own choosing on your device.

8. Children’s Privacy

This app is not directed at children. The app’s age rating on the App Store is 4+ and the app does not collect any personal data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL.
