Moon Phase Widget Privacy Policy

Overview

Moon Phase Widget does not use ads, analytics, tracking, or a developer-operated server. The app is designed to keep moon phase calculations and display settings on your device or in your own platform account when you choose to enable sync.

Data Collection

The developer does not collect personal data from this app. The app does not send your location, device identifier, advertising identifier, launch count, review history, or usage analytics to the developer.

Location

Location may be used only on the device to estimate moonrise and moonset times. Manual latitude and longitude, current location, and location-derived values are not included in cloud settings sync.

Cloud Settings Sync

If you enable cloud settings sync, non-sensitive display settings may be stored in your own platform account. On iOS, this uses iCloud Key-Value Store. On Android, this may use Google Drive appDataFolder when available and enabled. Synced settings can include calculation mode, moon name language, theme, widget background, calendar display preference, and the cloud sync enabled flag.

Data Excluded From Sync

Location, manual latitude and longitude, review request state, launch count, device ID, and advertising ID are not synced.
