Daily English Word (“the app”) is a personal English vocabulary learning app. The app does not send personal information to the developer and does not collect information that identifies you.

2. Data Collected

The developer does not collect the following categories of data through this app:

  • Contact information such as your name, email address, or phone number
  • Location information
  • Contacts, microphone, or audio data
  • Advertising identifiers or analytics tracking data
  • Account or sign-in information

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your selected level, learned/favorite word IDs, study streak, and notification settings are stored only on your device. The app does not sync to any server controlled by the developer.

4. Developer Access

The developer does not view, collect, sell, or share your learning history, favorites, or settings.

5. Third-Party Services

This app does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking SDKs. Pronunciation playback uses Apple’s on-device AVSpeechSynthesizer.

6. Optional Permissions

The app may request the following permissions, all of which are optional and used only on your device:

  • Notifications: To deliver daily reminders for the day’s word. You may decline or revoke this at any time in iOS Settings.

7. Sharing With Third Parties

This app does not sell or share your data with third parties.

8. Children’s Privacy

This app is not directed at children. The app’s age rating on the App Store is 4+ and the app does not collect any personal data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL.
