Preference Notes is developed by Manabi Mate LLC. This privacy policy explains how the app handles user data.
Data Collection
Preference Notes does not collect any personal data from users. All data — including notes about people, preferences, and categories — is entered manually by the user and stored only on the user’s device and in their own private iCloud database.
iCloud Sync
If the user has iCloud enabled, data is synced across their own devices using CloudKit private database. This data is accessible only to the user and is never shared with the developer or any third party.
Third-Party Services
Preference Notes does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Account Registration
No account creation or sign-in is required to use Preference Notes.
Data Sharing
No user data is shared with the developer or any third party. The app does not include any sharing or publishing features.
Biometric Authentication
The app offers an optional Face ID / Touch ID lock to protect user data. Biometric data is handled entirely by the operating system and is never accessed by the app.
Sensitive Information
Preference Notes is designed for lightweight personal notes such as food preferences, hobbies, and gift ideas. Users are advised not to store highly sensitive information such as passwords, financial data, or medical records.
