Privacy Policy — Pizza Fractions
Effective date: July 13, 2026
Last updated: July 13, 2026
Pizza Fractions (the “App”) is provided by YUTA WATANABE / Manabi Mate LLC (the “Provider”). This policy explains how the App handles information.
1. Information the Provider does not collect
The App does not ask for or collect a child’s name, email address, school, precise location, photos, audio, contacts, advertising identifier, or behavioral profile. The App has no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking. The Provider does not sell personal information.
2. Information stored on the device
The App stores anonymous learning progress, lesson completion, practice-session totals, badges, preferences, synchronization status, and a limited review-prompt history on the user’s device. A randomly generated local identifier is used to merge learning records; it is not a child account and is not connected to a name or email address.
Review-prompt history remains on the device and is not included in cloud synchronization or export files.
3. Optional private cloud synchronization
Cloud synchronization is off by default and can be enabled only by an adult in the parent-gated Parent Zone.
On iOS and iPadOS, the App may store a versioned learning snapshot in the private CloudKit database associated with the user’s iCloud account. The App does not use a public or shared CloudKit database.
On Android, the App may request the non-sensitive Google Drive drive.appdata permission and store a versioned learning snapshot in the hidden appDataFolder associated with the user’s Google Account. This permission does not allow the App to read the user’s ordinary Drive documents, photos, or other files. OAuth access tokens and Google account identifiers are not stored by the App.
The synchronized snapshot can contain the anonymous learning data and preferences described above, revision timestamps, and deletion records that expire after 30 days. The App does not send learning data to an independent server operated by the Provider. Apple and Google process cloud data and account authorization under their own terms and privacy policies.
4. Export and import
An adult may export learning data as a ZIP file or import a compatible ZIP file. The adult chooses where an exported file is saved or shared. The Provider does not automatically receive exported files.
5. External links and store reviews
Privacy, support, manual store-review, cloud, export, import, and deletion actions are available only inside the Parent Zone. Apple or Google may process store-review and external-link activity under their own policies. The App does not learn whether a user submitted a rating.
6. Retention and deletion
Local learning data remains until it is deleted in the Parent Zone, removed by the operating system, or the App is uninstalled. Uninstalling the App may not delete an optional cloud snapshot. An adult can separately stop synchronization on a device and request deletion of the App’s cloud snapshot from the Parent Zone. Temporary deletion records expire after 30 days.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is designed as a learning tool for children, but it does not require a child account or intentionally collect personal information from children. External services and data-management actions are placed behind an adult gate. The gate reduces accidental access; it is not identity authentication.
8. Security
The App uses platform-provided local storage, private platform cloud areas, encrypted HTTPS communication, and narrowly scoped authorization. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the App, platform requirements, or applicable rules change. The “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are published.
