- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the recipient is not considered a third party in the following cases:
- When the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
- When personal information is provided through business succession due to a merger or other event
- When personal information is used jointly with specific parties, and the fact of joint use, the categories of jointly used data, the scope of joint users, their purpose of use, and the name of the party responsible for managing the information have been notified to the individual in advance or made readily available to them
- The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the user’s prior consent, except in the following cases or as otherwise permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws:
- Disclosure of Personal Information
- When an individual requests disclosure of their personal information, the Company will disclose it without delay. However, disclosure may be withheld in whole or in part in the following cases, and if the Company decides not to disclose, it will notify the individual without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen per request applies to disclosure.
- When disclosure could harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual or a third party
- When disclosure could significantly hinder the proper execution of the Company’s business
- When disclosure would otherwise violate laws or regulations
- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information, such as history and characteristic information, will not be disclosed in principle.
- When an individual requests disclosure of their personal information, the Company will disclose it without delay. However, disclosure may be withheld in whole or in part in the following cases, and if the Company decides not to disclose, it will notify the individual without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen per request applies to disclosure.
- Correction and Deletion
- If personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request its correction, addition, or deletion (“Correction”) through the procedures set by the Company.
- If the Company determines that a request should be granted, it will make the Correction without delay.
- The Company will notify the user without delay after making a Correction or deciding not to make one.
- Suspension of Use
- If an individual requests suspension or deletion of their personal information (“Suspension”) on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or was obtained by improper means, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
- If the investigation shows that the request should be granted, the Company will carry out the Suspension without delay.
- The Company will notify the user without delay after carrying out a Suspension or deciding not to.
- Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if Suspension would require significant cost or is otherwise difficult, and alternative measures can protect the user’s rights and interests, the Company will take those alternative measures.
- Changes to This Policy
- This Policy may be changed without notice to users, except as otherwise provided by law or this Policy.
- Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Policy takes effect when posted on this website.
